My question is, i have 2 that show bulge + black mark on it (looks like a sharpie touched it) but then I have a smaller one near it that also has a black mark on it looks like a sharpie..as well as the two bigger ones to the right of it have black marks however those have a flat top (no bulge whatsoever) ..should I be replacing those too? or only the ones with bulge
@standback23 I called them. They told me my tv model isn’t the one that has a problem therefore no recall. I called twice and spoke to one girl on chat hoping someone would come through. No one did. They told me to fo since my warranty expired last month.
Samsung is now repairing this problem free of charge. They not only replaced my capacitors but the whole board that the capacitors were on. A 10 minute job. Call 1-800- Samsung.
@Arbejde2011 IT WORKED! I replaced 4 out of 4 capacitors which were rather easy to find due to dmg in the top. I used 4 units of 16V and 1000 micro farrel.
The capasitors costed me 10 dkk each ($1,8). Its really easy and the tools needed are also really cheap. In total including capacitors and tools i spended 200 dkk ($35)!
1 hours work from start to finish. Maybe a little more for a complete beginner.

I have this problem. My samsung LE40M86 wont turn on. it just sits there clicking like its trying. I located the actual magnetic relay doing the clicking noise – thinking it was dead. I short circuted it in hope that it would hold the signal and the tv would turn on. DIDNT WORK.

is serpentine belt the same as the power steering belt?? i was told my power steering belt needs to be adjusted but if this is the same thing i know my serpenting belt has not been replaced in several years so i reckon ill just replace it instead of just having it adjusted
